Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Mission Statement: Bringing all souls to Jesus through Mary, the Immaculate Conception
Seeing Christ in others through our Christian Identity, we bridge the life and times of Jesus to our age offering the Way of Christ for those lost and forsaken in our world, offering the Truth of Christ for those seeking redemption, and offering the Light of Christ for those living in darkness.
The Birth of Christ through Mary the Immaculate One changes history absolutely as He is both Son of God and Son of Man offering reconciliation as God and Man to us who suffer the consequences of Original Sin and our actual sins. Because of our sin, Jesus brings Peace to his People. He, the Prince of Peace, restores fallen humanity and offers us his way to receive the fullness of grace as did Mary.
Through her intercession as she did at the Wedding Feast of Cana, Mary intercedes for us so we too may experience that hour in which Christ suffers and dies offering us forgiveness of all sin and a place in his eternal kingdom. So we with Mary stand at the foot of the Cross and receive her as our Mother, the Immaculate Conception. With the Good Thief, we receive the good news: the forgiveness of our sins; and have confidence in Him, trusting his hour of Divine Mercy as did Mary, we too will inherit eternal life.
We warmly welcome you to come to our Catholic Church and accept our invitation to receive the Joy of the Gospel as Elizabeth did when she heard the greeting of Mary. “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior” (Lk 1:46-47). In our Sacred Worship, through hymns of praise and adoration, we unlock the sacred Mystery: Christ is truly present, not only in our tabernacle, not only in our family of believers, but also in the individuals who come to adore Jesus in his Real Presence. We are his temples filled with divine grace as was Mary.
Our Parish offer various ministries for all persons who bring their various gifts so they may fulfill their desire to enter into the Mystery of Christ’s life as did Mary which transforms us from merely encountering Christ as a prophet, to becoming his disciples as true followers, but most importantly to be transfigured by this encounter to become missionaries. We use our time, talent and treasure to spread the Joy of Jesus through our preparation and reception of the Seven Sacraments, our religious education for both youth and adults, our soup kitchen ministry, our Legion of Mary Praesidium, Knights of Columbus Council (5011), Charismatic Prayer Group (Voices in Wilderness), and our devotion and adoration times.
The purpose of our mission of evangelization transforms us, from merely hearers of the Word, but doers, becoming missionary disciples preaching and teaching the mystery of Christ’s Love that we experience. We join the Holy Family, not only of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, but the whole family of God Our Father, his Catholic Church through our parish, Immaculate Conception, following the teachings of Jesus laid out in the Scriptures and understood by the Magisterium and Tradition of the Catholic Church.
Because we are sons and daughters of the Father, through the love of our Brother, Jesus, Who sends us his Holy Spirit, the Author of Love so Our Holy Father, Pope Francis reveals that
“We are all called to be holy by living our lives with love and by bearing witness in everything we do, wherever we find ourselves” (Gaudete et Exsultate, #14). Totus Tuus
